Project Objective

To develop a mobile app for food delivery that harmoniously combines intuitive user experience (UX) with refined visual aesthetics, aligning with the Alouette Bistro brand. Special attention was given to ease of use and maintaining the authenticity of the bistro's French style..

Target Audience

  • Primary: Urban residents seeking a fast and convenient way to order meals from the restaurant.
  • Secondary: Tourists who value fine cuisine and ease of access.

Work Process

  1. Research:
    • Competitor analysis: Gathered insights on similar apps in the market, identifying key user pain points.
    • Customer interviews: Defined user needs and expectations for a delivery service.
  2. Ideation and Design Concept:
    • Developed prototypes emphasizing straightforward navigation.
    • Core principle: users should be able to place an order in three clicks.
  3. Visual Design:
    • Utilized pastel tones to evoke French sophistication.
    • Integrated illustrations inspired by traditional European bistros.
    • Typography blends modernity with classic appeal: clean yet confident fonts.
  4. Testing:
    • Conducted A/B testing to optimize UI elements.
    • Received high usability scores from the test group.
